Privacy Policy

Draft policy for early launch. Expand or replace sections in src/content/support/privacy-sections.ts and have counsel review before production.

Last updated: 11 April 2026

This policy is a starting point for transparency during beta. It is not legal advice; tailor it to your entity, jurisdiction, and data practices.

Overview

Subha Vedika (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides tools to create and share family invitations online. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the product to minimise data collection while still letting hosts manage events and guests respond to invitations.

Information we collect

Account information: If you sign in, we may collect identifiers such as your email address and name, depending on how you authenticate.

Content you provide: Event details you enter—titles, dates, venue text, messages, RSVP settings, and similar fields needed to build and share an invitation.

Guest and RSVP data: When someone submits an RSVP on a public invite page, we store the fields they provide (for example name, contact details, attendance, and optional notes) so hosts can see responses.

Technical data: Standard server and security logs may include IP address, browser type, timestamps, and diagnostic information to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide the service: rendering invitations, enabling sharing links, showing RSVPs to hosts, and improving reliability and security. We do not sell your personal information. Analytics, if enabled, uses privacy-conscious, aggregate-oriented events without embedding sensitive guest content in tracking payloads.

Retention

We retain account and event data as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account or specific content subject to our operational and legal obligations. Specific retention periods may be added here as the product matures.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you. Contact us using the details on the Contact page to make a request. We will respond in line with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
